October 12, 2017Couples will renew wedding vows- three couples to celebrate 70 years
(PROVIDENCE)- More than 200 couples will gather this Sunday in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul in Providence to participate in the annual Wedding Anniversary Mass. Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will preside at the Mass with couples celebrating 25 years or more of marriage.
Couples from parishes throughout the diocese will renew their wedding vows and receive a special blessing from Bishop Tobin.
A reception will follow in the lower level of the Cathedral where the couples will have a photo opportunity with the bishop and receive a personalized certificate in remembrance of this special occasion.
