Catholic Communications How the Good News gets around in the Diocese of Providence
If you've seen the Diocese of Providence share about the Catholic faith with our new reels series, “Your Lenten Questions Answered,” Marian Mondays in May, feasts and saints days and more year-round via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, or watched our livestreamed videos of Holy Mass and celebrations from the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul on YouTube (youtube.com/DioceseofProvidenceRI), read news and information on the web (dioceseofprovidence.org and thericatholic.com), in your email inbox with our Friday Diocesan eNews, or in your parish bulletin, that information was made possible in part by your support of the annual Catholic Communication Campaign!
Because of your generous donation, our diocesan office of Communications and Public Relations has been able to share the Good News of our diocese, like the exciting announcement of the 9th Bishop of Providence, Most Rev. Richard G. Henning and the retirement of Bishop Thomas J. Tobin, as well as informing those in need of some of our vital services, including Keep the Heat On fuel assistance program, St. Gabriel’s Call ministry helping expectant mothers and their children, classes for caregivers, an array of support groups, St. Martin de Porres inner city multi-service center, plus all the good news from our 36 Catholic elementary and secondary schools and our over 120 parishes.
