Dr. Susan Timoney, Archdiocese of Washington, will discuss how to recognize opportunities and strengthen confidence among parish staff and parishioners for making the most out of evangelizing and catechizing moments. The Diocese of Providence, Office of Life and Family, will offer the Our Lady of Sorrows Bereavement Support Program to the South County area, at St Francis of Assisi Church, in the church basement. This program provides group support, spiritual comfort and a place for adult Catholics to share during their journey of grief, after the death of a loved one. Meetings are most appropriate for persons who are three months or more beyond their loss. Each meeting is facilitated by the Diocese and is offered each Thursday, from Sept 23 through Nov 11, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. There is no cost to attend!
