Provides the Hispanic population of the Diocese with religious guidance, support, and information on matters both secular and religious. The office also serves as the liaison between parishes and the Hispanic community, providing support and assistance in evangelization, education, and information.


Services include:
- Youth ministry - Leadership training, two Searches annually, youth celebration of Pasqua Juvenil
- Marriage Preparation - Two seminars annually for engaged couples including a special retreat for couples not married in the Catholic Church
- Family Life - Annual conference, March to Washington,
Respect Life workshop - Assistance to Parishes - Support to parishes in reaching and serving the Hispanic Catholics of the Diocese
- Religious Education - Annual workshop and continuing education
- Vocation - Retreat for men and women
- Coordination with media - Visitor, TV, and radio program
- Coordination with the Office of Black Ministry - Annual dinner
- Coordination with HIV/AIDS Ministry - Presentations to parishes
- Collaboration with apostolic movements such as Legion of Mary and Cursillo

“Católicos de Hoy (Today’s Catholics)” wins 2008 PEG Award - PAWTUCKET – Carina Monge, Silvio Cuellar and Byron Monge from the production team of the Spanish TV program “Católicos de Hoy (Today’s Catholics)”; at the ceremony of the 2008 PEG Awards for local TV programming. The Spanish TV program received 5 nominations and collected 1 award in the category of Live Performance with a song performed by local singer songwriter Elvis Hernandez. Católicos de Hoy airs on Thursdays at 5:30 PM and Fridays at 11:30 AM on channel 14 of cable. Completing the Production team is Aida Hidalgo, Director of the Office of Hispanic Ministry as producer and Rev. Hugo Carmona as Host.
